A new trailer donated by Hurricane Valley Rotary helps Scouts on camping trips and other excursions.

The hardest part of any group outing is being sure everything that is needed has a place to be packed and organized.  The trailer, provided by the Hurricane Valley Rotary Club to the Scout Troop and Cub Pack it sponsors is helping greatly to accomplish that and improve the experience and learning for the Scouts.

Local scout leader, Charlie Twiss, said all the camping, cooking, and personal gear, and whatever else may be needed for an outing can now be gathered all into one place.  It improves the logistics that are so essential to a successful event for Scout Troop 1681 and Cub Scout Pack 1681.  When a Scout achieves Eagle Rank, their name and date are inscribed on the trailer as a testimony to their hard work and an inspiration to those who follow.

Hurricane Valley Rotary is proud to be a part of making the scouting experience possible for so many young people as they learn, experience, and prepare for their future.
