Hurricane Valley Rotary and its Interact Club at Hurricane High donate $600 worth of socks to Switchpoint.
Hurricane Valley Rotary teamed with the Hurricane High Interact Club to collect and donate approximately $600 worth of new socks to Switchpoint Community Resource Center. Rotarians Patty Nation and Mickie Bond are shown here delivering the socks to SwitchPoint, which takes a variety of resources available throughout the community and coordinates between different entities to offer more comprehensive help to the homeless and those struggling with poverty.
 
Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.
Interact clubs organize projects that helps their school or community and that promotes international understanding. Rotary Club sponsors team with a faculty advisor to mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills. Interact is a great path to prepare young women and men for success.
