The American Cancer Society Utah is holding its inaugural ACS Southern Utah Golf Classic on October 6, 2023 at the newly opened Black Desert Resort in St. George, Utah. The course, designed by the late Tom Weiskopf, will be home to both an LPGA and PGA tournament next year.
Several Washington County Rotary Clubs have joined together, with the support of Past District Governor Jose Velasco, to challenge ALL District 5420 clubs to contribute to a collective $25,000 gift to support this amazing cause while also raising awareness of the “Service Above Self” work of Rotary in Utah. Your club’s $1,000 donation will support the fundraising effort and provide for a Rotary presence at this first-class tournament including, but not limited to, a Rotary-themed centerpiece on every table at the paddle-raise reception the evening before the event. Clubs may also choose to make a donation greater or less than $1,000 depending on its finances, of course.
Make your donation using the buttons at the bottom of this page.
A donation of $1,000 pays for a Rotary sign to be placed at one of the 18 tee boxes or for a Rotary centerpiece to be placed on two tables at the reception the evening before the tournament. A $500 donation pays for a Rotary centerpiece to be placed on table at the reception. Regardless of how much your club donates, it all goes to the vital cause of fighting cancer.
