Utah Rotary District Governor John Redd addresses Hurricane Valley Rotary Club on February 5, 2024.
We were honored at our meeting on February 5 to host John Redd, the District Governor for Utah (District 5420) and his wife, Nicole, for a wonderful lunch and talk about Rotary. John spoke about his theme for the year, "The Power of One." John said amazing things can be accomplished simply by one person saying "yes" or one person taking action. For example, he asked what wouldn't have happened if one person years ago didn't ask many years ago whether we should try to eradicate wild polio. Well, we wouldn't have only nine cases of wild polio in the world as of the end of last year. Amazing, isn't it?
