The threat of rain didn't deter Rotary, car owners, or crowd in having fantastic Easter Car Show.

The Hurricane Valley Rotary Easter Car Show was another smashing success March 30 despite the weather threatening to turn it into an Easter Car Wash. The real rain held off until the awards ceremony was completed and everyone was headed out.  Nearly 300 cars were registered for the show, and most of those showed up to entertain an impressive crowd.

The event is the Rotary Club's primary fundraising effort each year. It enables the Club to perform service projects, make donations, and do other work to support the people of Southern Utah and beyond. A portion of this year's proceeds have been donated to the City of Hurricane for the Veterans Memorial Park planned for Hurricane. The planned donation is $20,000. This year was the 39th Easter Car Show, making the next one a big milestone for the Club and community. It will be on Saturday, April 19 in downtown Hurricane. Put it on your calendar!
