Welcome to the Hurricane Valley Rotary Club!
Welcome to our Club’s website!  We are service-oriented people dedicated to help our community thrive.  Our Rotarians are “People of Action” who perform a wide variety of service projects in the area and donate to organizations and people throughout Hurricane Valley.  We also support causes in other parts of Utah, our nation, and across the globe.

This year, we built the All-Abilities Playground in Dixie Springs Park in Hurricane.  The playground is specifically designed for special needs children, but it is open to kids of all ages.  Among the other significant ways we serve the community is by supporting education through scholarships, arts programs, backpacks, and dictionaries.  We also support youth activities such as the Hurricane High School Mountain Bike Team and Boy Scout Troop 1681.  Local organizations such as the Hurricane Food Pantry, Root for Kids, Tan’s Treats, and Washington County Search and Rescue are just some of those upon which we focus our efforts.

We welcome service-oriented individuals, business professionals and other community members to join us in our commitment to improve the world around us.  The most important qualification for membership is a passion for serving the community and creating friendships.  Being a Rotarian connects you with people who share your desire to place "Service Above Self" through an established and respected organization.  Join us.

The American Cancer Society Utah is holding its inaugural ACS Southern Utah Golf Classic on October 6, 2023 at the newly opened Black Desert Resort in St. George, Utah.  Several Washington County Rotary Clubs have joined together to challenge ALL District 5420 clubs to contribute to a collective $25,000 gift to support this amazing cause and raise awareness of the “Service Above Self” work of Rotary in Utah.  A club’s $1,000 donation will support the fundraising effort and provide for a Rotary presence at this first-class tournament.  Clubs may also choose to make a donation greater or less than $1,000 depending on its finances.
